Four Tees Engineers Complete First Year on Balfour Beatty Living Spaces Framework

Four-Tees Engineers (FTE) were appointed to the Balfour Beatty Living Spaces East Sussex County Council five-year Framework in May 2025, and the Langley Rise Footbridge refurbishment was a year one project completed by FTE.

FTE’s Langley Rise contract was not limited to detailing, fabrication and installation of the designed steelwork repairs. Our work scope included establishing the site compound, welfare facilities, design and installation of access scaffolding and encapsulation, high pressure water jetting of the structure, painting and associated civil engineering works.

FTE Managing Director Tim Stedman commented “In meeting customer needs our services have progressively evolved and expanded. We now provide a complete project management service and can integrate all associated site establishment and trade activities alongside the structural steelwork projects we are recognised for. Langley Rise is a good example of these services and on this occasion, we were well supported in collaboration with our trusted supply chain partners Skill Scaffolding, Bridgecoat Ltd and FJ Rail and Construction Ltd.”
