Four-Tees Engineers contribute to Paddington Christmas Project Success

Four Tees Engineers (FTE) provided critical specialist steelwork support services to Lord Hills overbridge strengthening work at Paddington Station. FTE provided 108 skilled tradespersons shifts and associated plant, equipment and resources over the Christmas Day and Boxing Day closure for this BAM project being undertaken for Network Rail.

FTE Contracts Director Craig Wilkinson commented “the structure was suffering from corrosion of the steelwork with some significant water damage on the soffit and parapets. We have been delighted to work collaboratively with BAM, their designers, and supply partners to develop this low-cost solution to maintain the safe condition of this historic bridge structure. Our works have also enabled the reopening the previously closed public footpath and removed the associated disruption to neighbouring communities and businesses.”
